About Us

One of the first organic food producers, Anne Roberts is also an avid conservationist.  She has travelled internationally for 30 years, continues to work as a cordon bleu chef & teacher: having owned a cooking school in Paris. She now runs courses in 17th century town house in the Scottish Borders, combining Gastronomy with Art tuition by upcoming Scottish artists. Her home can also display their works or she will organise art events in Border locations. The Secret House is let in summer for GREEN TOURISM.

Activities
Golf on the lovely quiet Scottish Border golf courses, including Roxburgh championship and the east coast links courses, of East Lothian and Northumberland.

Diving and Beach at St Abbs Head, National Trust Coast Reserve and Coldinham (20mins away)

Fishing in the rivers Tweed, Whiteadder, Blackadder; the local gamedealer issues permits.

Horse riding routes and four wheel driving on the Lammermuirs

Walking on the Lammermuirs, the Southern Upland way, the coastal stretch of East Lothian and North Northumberland, and slightly further away the Cheviots, with Hadrian's Roman settlement and wall.

Cycling: 20 one-day routes are to be explored in Southern Scotland, including the Tweed Cycleway.

Carriage Driving: Go on a Picnic with Shetlands cost £65 for 3 hour expedition.
Learn to Carriage dirive over a weekend from April to June, some lovely quiet roads and circular routes; Children may ride Shetland ponies.
Grazing and stabling for your own horses on Crunklaw Farm.
